Meet Deena:

LMHC specializing in anxiety, relationships, and depression

Hello and Welcome! I’m Deena Nathoo, a compassionate and dedicated therapist committed to supporting individuals on their journey towards healing and personal growth. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in FL. With over 10 years of experience, I have helped numerous clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. I absolutely love helping my clients get of out their own way and take back ownership of their well-being and mental health. I work with adults to help them find balance and peace from stress, anxiety, and depression, and to have more meaningful relationships/connections in their lives.

I believe in taking a holistic approach to therapy, focusing on the mind, body, and spirit connection. I utilize a combination of holistic/eastern practices such as yoga, meditation, mindfulness, etc with evidenced based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET), and The Gottman Method (for relationships). I tailor each session to meet the unique needs and preferences of my clients. I’m deeply committed to providing a non-judgmental, safe space for my clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I gently challenge my clients towards change with a lot of love and compassion.

Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse individuals from various backgrounds. I’ve worked in a number of mental health settings including community mental health, inpatient psychiatric care, partial hospitalization program (PHP), intensive outpatient program (IOP), and the public school system. I have supported clients in overcoming anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, empowering them to live life to their fullest potential.

I have had the privilege and honor of witnessing tremendous growth and transformation in my clients’ lives. They teach me so much about life, love, happiness, and peace. I love being able to guide my clients to their “ah-ha” moments. My favorite part of the therapy process is when clients share their big wins and moments of change and I love cheering them on.

LCSW who accepts insurance and can meet virtually in the state of FL

Hello! I’m Megha Vyas, a licensed clinical social worker who is passionate about being a helper and supporting others on their wellness journey. I’ve been in the mental health field for over 15 years and started out as a crisis hotline volunteer when I was 19 years old. In my time in the field, I understand that wellness is a life long journey that takes time, commitment, dedication, and prioritizing your needs first. Finding the tools one needs to start the path to healing is my specialty.

My approach to therapy is from a trauma informed lens combined with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also am trained in and use techniques from Motivational Interviewing and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). The strategies I use are intentionally combined to help you build tools to successfully problem solve, improve your self-worth, and rewrite old narratives and beliefs that are no longer serving you. I love working with adults (18 and up) and specialize in PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Divorce, and Life Transitions/Stress.

Throughout my career, I have worked in with kids, adults, families, and couples of all ages and diverse backgrounds. I have worked in many mental health settings including inpatient care, residential, PHP/IOP, community mental health, utilization review, and outpatient/group therapy settings. I am excited to bring my wealth of knowledge and expertise to private practice and work with individuals who are truly motivated towards change.
